Gillingham had to battle hard, and it was another more gritty than pretty performance, but Gillingham’s undefeated start to the 2024/25 League Two season continued with a goalless draw against Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium.
It was the Gills’ second long away trip in the space of seven days, following hot on the heels of our 1-0 away win at Morecambe last weekend, and while we couldn’t claim the three points on this occasion, the point on the road ensured that the Gills finished the weekend at the top of League Two after three games placed.
